![]() Introducing the... Lucky Seat! One lucky audience member at one of our shows(randomly chosen) will win $200 cash!
From the North Renfrew Times, 14 May 2025:
With familiar toe-tapping tunes, see Childs Auditorium transformed into early Deep River and the infancy of AECL. A widowed scientist needs childcare, an under-employed physicist needs a job, and a lab needs a chain reaction. Can they all find what they need before the curtain closes? Phyllis loves writing shows based (loosely) on Ottawa Valley history. Some of her past productions include: "Jean-Claude of Swisha" (2013), "The Good, The Bad, and the Nerdy" (2008), "Murder at the Byeways" (2006), and "West Wiley Story" (2005). In "The Sound of Neutrons," Phyllis brings her experience at AECL and love for the Ottawa Valley together to share the story of the founding of Deep River, and the mayhem of early scientific innovation. With 50 of your friends and neighbours on stage, and a live 10-piece band to provide the soundtrack, this show promises a rollicking good time. Bring your friends! Bring your kids! The show runs June 6, 7, 12, 13, 14 at Childs Auditorium Deep River. Tickets are available at DeepRiverPlayers.ca.
